01. The Challenge

Global expansion is no small feet. It comes with a special set of challenges especially for  a prestigious luxury brand looking to  revamp their online presence. This is a tale of innovation, challenge, and triumph.

 The prestigious luxury jewelry company faced several challenges with their international website launch. The designs they were provided from another agency lacked UX best practices and accessibility criteria, necessitating consultation and redesign. The website was built on a mixed platform, leading to localization issues and content cross-pollination. Additionally, certain elements, though provided to the development agency where not outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and therefore additional solutions needed to be found.

02. The Solution

To address these challenges, a custom consultation was initiated, leading to updated designs tailored for optimal user experience and compliance with present accessibility requirements. Leveraging available components, the website was meticulously built out, following the designs and improvising with components and custom code where needed. Notably, a custom-coded footer solution worth (quoted at $100K by the development agency) was delivered within an astonishingly short timeframe, defying initial doubts. The designs were reworked as necessary to align with budget constraints, with code fixes and updates implemented where needed. A thorough Quality Assurance (QA) assessment was conducted, and necessary fixes were recommended and executed.

03. The Result

The project yielded remarkable outcomes. Despite the challenges, the website was delivered ahead of schedule by our team and within the allocated budget. This successful international brand launch led to a staggering increase in potential market exposure by over 300%. Moreover, the revamp significantly enhanced the brand recognition and international credibility of the iconic Canadian Jewelry brand, positioning it as a leader in luxury jewelry.
